Popular festival of very ancient tradition, the Carnival of Sciacca involves every year the most part of local population and a lot of visitors. It is characterized by a parade of floats made with papier-mâché, realised by local artists, true ephemeral works of art.

Every year the mask symbol of the Carnival of Sciacca opens the parade: “Peppe Nappa”, who has the keys of the town, on the way distributes sausage, wine and sweets by encouraging people to enjoy.
